I can’t do anything but keep wondering about why Jonathan is so eager to go to the war! Jonathan thinks the war is all about getting respect and getting praised but it isn’t at all. What Jonathan doesn’t know is that the war isn’t about getting respect it is about serving your country. He is only thirteen years old he thinks he is ready for war but it nowhere near ready. Actually I think its kind of funny because how can you supposed that you are ready for war when you say you can handle a gun but the gun I way taller then you and you can barely pick it up “HAHA”!? Jonathan (the narrator) always tell his self “go and do it”; when he ‘says’ think I think…do what go get killed?!?!Jonathan’s parents should have did some hardcore disciplining to him then maybe his mind wouldn’t be so polluted with fighting and war.
